First of all I just have to say how much I love Rachel and Trevor.  Ever since I first met them I could just tell that there were crazy about each other and really truly committed.  Plus they are freaking awesome; I just knew that I was going to love working with them.  And I was right!  Their wedding was the perfection reflection of themselves: sweet, intimate, pure……..and totally rockin’ (as you will later see in the dancing!)  I have to say that I had such a great time.  The ceremony and their vows were beautiful, the interaction they had with each other right after the ceremony was the most genuine, pure, humble excitement Ive ever witnessed and I dont think Ive laughed harder at any other reception. Thank you Rachel and Trevor!!!!

I had the most wonderful opportunity to photograph the Linton family yesterday in the UT Gardens. They were a joy to work with! What a great chance to see three generations interact with and love one another. Everyone was beautiful and the two little boys were just adorable. They are such a sweet family and I want to say thank you to them for giving me the honor of capturing these great moments:

 

 

 

I had the idea to do a fashion shoot in the basement of Aconda Court, one of UT’s buildings. After many weeks of rescheduling I finally got together with 3 wonderful models, Jeremy, Stephanie and Haley. They did a fantastic job and I really think we created some good images together. My lovely coworker Tara brought her beautiful little baby boy to work yesterday. I couldnt help but get a few shots of his precious little self. Babies are so fun to photograph!

I just started shooting for EvaMag, a local magazine in Knoxville, (yay!) and here is my first article. There is also a lovely ad for my business in the issue so go grab one!

Last weekend I went to visit my best friend Leah and her beautiful family. Her daughter, Annabelle, is now 8 months old and she is sooooooo cute and soooo animated! I had such a great time photographing her. Here are some of the best:

My loverly best friend Leah had me take some family pictures of her, her hubby, and new baby for Christmas. We went to Myrtle Beach and just had a great time playing and taking pictures. Annabelle is the cutest little girl ever, dont you think?! (I have to be biased towards my goddaughter:) Here are some of my favorites:

So I had a pleasant blast from my past recently. I guy I went to highschool with contacted me to help him shoot a wedding. He has his own photo and graphic design business near Charlotte, NC. I of course, said yes. It was so much fun shooting with an old friend. The wedding took place in the mountains, near Asheville and was gorgeous! It was a lovely day, perfect weather and we got some awesome shots! Here are some of my best:

Jesse and Natalia’s wedding was an amazing experience: the perfect blending of two cultures. Natalia is from Peru and her family came up for the wedding. None of them spoke English! It was just incredible to witness such openmindedness and welcoming of the two families despite the language barrier. The love between Jesse and Natalia was so strong, to bring two families from two different continents together, it was truly amazing. Just look at this picture: Such limited verbal communication between Jesse and Natalia’s parents but you can see it in her face. She adores him!

And again, I ask, how cute!? I love, love, love this shot. As we were doing formals, it was as if I wasnt even there. They were just so relaxed and enjoying the moment.
