Jesse and Natalia’s Wedding 9/22/07

Jesse and Natalia’s wedding was an amazing experience: the perfect blending of two cultures. Natalia is from Peru and her family came up for the wedding. None of them spoke English! It was just incredible to witness such openmindedness and welcoming of the two families despite the language barrier. The love between Jesse and Natalia was so strong, to bring two families from two different continents together, it was truly amazing. Just look at this picture: Such limited verbal communication between Jesse and Natalia’s parents but you can see it in her face. She adores him!

Here are some shots of the bride getting ready with her sister. (I was even able to practice a little of my Spanish) Isnt her hair piece lovely?

The ceremony: Jesse and Natalia had such great energy between them as they held hands and gave their vows.

La fiesta! Latina style!

Cutting the cake:

Right before the garter toss, how cute are they?

And again, I ask, how cute!? I love, love, love this shot. As we were doing formals, it was as if I wasnt even there. They were just so relaxed and enjoying the moment.

Aaron and Michelle’s Wedding 9/15/07

I had the pleasure of going back to Savannah for the wedding of a good college friend. Their wedding was small, intimate, classy, and beautiful! The ceremony took place in the gardens at Forsyth Park which had gorgeous flowers and a little fountain in the middle. Aaron and Michelle went with an old-time theme for their wedding. The guests were decked out in vintage clothing, the women in fluffy dresses, gloves and big hats, the men in suspenders, bow ties, top hats, and sear sucker suits. Here is the bride in her amazing gown about to walk with her father. Notice the feathers in her hair!

Here is a shot of the fountain and ceremony while the parents are lighting the candles.

The bride and groom (highschool sweethearts!) giving the vows they wrote themseves………and the kiss!

This was my favorite shot of the day. It just shows the amazing love between these two and just how cute they are!

The reception was a sit down dinner at Cha Bella, a sweet little restaurant in downtown Savannah. It was beautifully decorated with feathers, flowers, and pearls. But the best thing about it is that the outside area has swings!

The cake:

Aaron and Michelle’s wedding was so elegant and sweet and I am so happy that I was able to share it with them. (Thanks guys!)
